Samaria Gorge is an unexpected experience for travellers who love nature and want to explore a unique landscape in Crete.
Is the longest (16km) and the most beautiful in Europe. If you are lucky you will meet the rare kind of "KRI-KRI" which lives in the gorge.
You will start from Omalos, at least you will need six hours till the end.
In the end of gorge you will arrive to the village "Agia Roumeli".
There you will meet locals, they know a lot about the history of this magical place.
Also there you can eat traditional cretan dishes or go swimming.
Until you take the boat for the way back to "Chora Sfakion".
There we will be waiting for you, for your return to Rethymno.
